Formal Burial is offered to those who wish to make sure their beloved pets always have a space on this Earth after they have passed. Unlike the cremation process, the Formal Burial service consists of a plot, a casket and a fully engraved granite headstone.
There is a certain satisfaction that goes along with knowing your pet has a permanent resting place for you to visit, place flowers or simply express your love for his/her years of devotion and unconditional love.
Do we consider your pets just animals? No! What do we consider them? Members of the family. Humans have become accustomed to burying their loved ones to show a lasting tribute to their memory and to preserve those memories. To bury a pet at a Pet Cemetery shows a love just as great. We do not normally perceive our pets final resting place as an actual plot at a pet cemetery. Many people have become accustomed to burying their pets on their own property, just to move a year later and never see their pets grave again. Others may not know where their pets are, nor do they know what was done with them. This constant guessing can weigh heavy on the mind of the owner for years after the pets passing. This is not a concern when your pet is buried at Western Farm Pet Cemetery or Animal Kingdom Pet Cemetery. you will always know where your pet is buried when you have had a Formal Burial. You will also have a place to visit no matter where you end up. |

When we say "Small Pets", we are talking about pets such as; Dogs, Cats, Birds, Fish, Rabbits, etc.
Formal Burial for small pets can be somewhat defined as a small human funeral. Though your pet may not be defined as a human being, we treat them as we would prefer to be treated by others. We here at Western Farm Pet Cemetery and Animal Kingdom Pet Cemetery think of them more as people for one simple reason, they are just like people. Though some are not willing to accept this fact, society, in general, is changing for the better about pets. In the past, humans have considered pets as just animals and inferior to us in every way. Going as far as to say they have no feelings. Everyone who has ever owned and loved a pet knows things to be different.
Burials for small pets can be done at either location (Western Farm Pet Cemetery or Animal Kingdom Pet Cemetery) |

"They May Be Large, But Still A Part Of The Family"
A slogan all too true when it comes to large pets such as horses. Western Farm and Animal Kingdom cater to our large companions as well as our small. Though few people think of having their horse or large animal buried, it is a possibility. The burial of a horse differs greatly from the burial of a small pet. There is no casket involved due to the size of the horse. The plot for the burial is about 12 times the size of an average plot. We do not have a pickup service for the burial of a horse. Our horse pickup service is restricted to Private Horse Cremation only.
If you would like to know more about our Horse Cremation service, please see our Cremation Service section, or email us for more information. |
